New Business Account Executive

  Flexible across North America

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Create client relationships and position CES for long-term partnerships with some of the biggest food retailers across North America
  • Sell outcomes, enterprise-wide, offering holistic and collaborative solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Develop, innovative sales strategies to secure and maintain a pipeline of new opportunities and maximize revenue and profitability
  • Act as the primary contact for high-level meetings and strategy for each account, spearheading sales proposals, negotiations and closing
  • Identify and develop value-adds and opportunities to create strategic partnerships and recommend product enhancements/customizations/changes and other solutions
  • Negotiate key success metrics and commitments with clients
  • Ensure CRM data is current, complete and accurate
  • Provide weekly account updates and review strategies
  • Conduct research and present design proposals for projects
  • Liaise with cross functional teams (Sales, Product Development, Engineering, Client Services) to ensure brand consistency, project budget, and design considerations are met
  • Stay abreast of HVAC industry/product knowledge; identify current trends; emerging market needs; competitive analysis
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of CES’ products and services offered


  • Experience influencing and negotiating key stakeholders and C-Suite Executives
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC rooftop systems
  • Post-secondary education; preferably in a related field (e.g. business)
  • Has a proven track record of developing sales for multinational accounts
  • Project management experience is required
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Takes a team and collaborative approach to selling
  • Able to understand the entire client Ecosystem
  • Proven ability to create an industry presence
  • Exercise excellent judgment to make tough decisions
  • Possess strong technical aptitude & business acumen
  • Brings a sense of urgency, takes initiative, and has a passion for customer success

Conditions of Employment

  • Travel to job sites, manufacturing facility, and customer locations
  • Ability to work from home with a home-based office
  • Valid passport: able to travel across North America
